It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

.. for some reason I stumbled upon dA yesterday and after reading some of the lovley, overwhelming comments I decided to re-animate this account. I don't know how active I'll be when it comes to uploading new Stock, but I do want to see what you did with the pictures I provided all those years ago. Furthermore I read a few requests from years ago, which I would have agreed on - but since I left dA that long ago I never answered those permission requests. :(

Now obviously it'll take me a little while to get through all the messages and comments and getting used to all the dA changes.

If theres anything URGENT (permission wise, etc.) please comment BELOW!

Finally! Welcome back :) So if you haven't noticed already i kind of fell in love with one oh your photos in particular and it kind of inspired me to make a youtube channel to promote music (dubstep in particular before it got all this big hype). In every one of my songs i have you credited for the original photo and have your deviantart page linked. Which may have caused you to get a ton of posts linking my youtube videos for my usage but hopefully a lot of new followers who appreciate your art. I send you an inbox right after you kind of left begging permission to use the picture :/ I really hope you don't mind and see that i tried to give you the true credit you deserve for taking the picture. My youtube channel is called WhySoDank Dubstep. not trying to promote my channel on your wall just wanted to let you know, i hope i can get your permission to continue and use your epic picture for my songs. Would mean a lot :)
